Just a flashback in time . . . . I became interested in THE ZEPPELIN AGE while working in Germany in 1980-81 and every month or so, I would travel to Friedrichshafen to work on two National Semiconductor Mainframe Computers at the Mercedes Ship Engine Building facility there. I would stay at the Graf Zeppelin Hotel and became interested in the Zeppelin history and the town of Friedrichshafen where all the Zeppelins were designed and built. When I returned back to San Diego, CA. I was now working for Pacific Southwest Airlines. A couple of years later, I met a wonderful German lady, Regina, we were married and her home town in Germany was Friedrichshafen !! . . . .
Over the years, I have picked up several of the metal Zeppelin pull toys from the 1930-1940s era that were rusty, broken and in need of repair. I have restored them, given them a special paint and decals !! Here are the latest five of them through my Restor-Version Shop !!
