MIMO toys is a Brazilian toy manufacturer. It was founded in the 1950 in the city of Itu, São Paulo, by the brothers Sergio and Elias Assum Sabbag. The Company's heyday was during the decade of 1980, when the Company became the third largets manufacturer of Brazil toys.
This VW Bus is made out of plastic using a vacuum formed processed and has very nice details for its size. The oval tail lights in combination with rear corner windows makes this a 1963 model. One piece plastic wheel and axle assemblies are snapped in place. The chassis is marked "MIMO" and has the number 49 - available in several solid colors. Also seen with a paper red cross sticker on the roof.
