The manufacturer is Mak’s Industrial Co. Ltd, founded in 1960 in Hong Kong. Renamed into Maksco Toy Ltd. Their expertise covers plastic toys, currently specialized on toy guns.
A model depicting a 1952 VW Van made of plastic with a friction motor. It has no rear bumper. Very nice detailed doors. The wheels are made of plastic and have rubber tires. The chassis is marked Mak´s, NO. 2050, Made in Hong Kong.
Most probably the white paint on the roof has been removed on this model as all other's we know of are two-tone painted models.
