The HAMMER Company was founded by Arthur Hammer in Lüdenscheid, Germany, in 1937 and produced tools for manufacturing thermo and duroplast materials. In 1950, they bought an injection mold machine and started producing small plastic toys.
One piece plastic body of a VW Pickup Bus with solid windows. Details include door seam lines, bed doors, headlights, engine lid and only a front bumper. Different colored plastic wheels with axles attach to pillars of the bottom of the molded body. There is a round mold mark in the center bottom.
