In 1881 the GAMA Company was founded by Georg Adam Mangold in Fürth, Germany. GAMA was one of the first companies after the war to be allowed to produce toys again. They set up production in an old military barracks.

A diecast metal body with cutout windows and painted in various colors and themes. Body is mounted on a sturdy plastic chassis with metal rims, rubber tires mounted on metal axles. Metal button headlights, plastic VW logo and painted signals front and rear.

The Spritzenwagen has a rubber fire hose would around a reel and attaches to the back of the truck. The red rubber ball in the center of the bed pumps water through the hose.
