Plastic body with solid windows. Very good body details of a Split Window VW Sedan and similar to WIKING VW model. Seven engine air louvers and the plastic wheels are clipped onto the chassis. Chassis marked “WARI-BERLIN - GES-GESCH” and HINTEN, which means “behind” and was written as an instruction for a correct assembly of the toy! Clear versions or colored plastic ones with clear (or transparent) colored wheels. Sold unassembled in plastic bags and was easy to put together. Wari not only made VW beetles, but also other toy cars, like a Mercedes Convertible and Mercedes Pick-Up Truck.
