This glass Split Window Volkswagen was a Christmas tree decoration with a large VW molded in the base. White painted windows, various colors and very fragile.
A very delicate glass Christmas tree ornament in the shape of a Split VW Beetle. The seams of the doors, windows, bonnets, headlights and hubcaps are painted gold.
Very nice! If it would be nearer to Amsterdam, I'd really like to visit it.
Maybe the museum could take a look onto our site as some descriptions of toys/ manufacturers are wrong,

Hi there,
the number of daily visitors to the site is big, so it seems to be interesting to collectors of really vintage VW toys.
Unfortunately only a few are willing to communicate online...
I have almost given up trying to convince collectors to share their thoughts on the site. As said, we have many visitors, but little contributions...
This sometimes feels disappointing as we spend many hours in expanding the site and also quite some $$$.
I hope to see more contributions,
