The Company C. Abel-Klinger, based in Nürnberg, Germany, was initially founded in 1785 as an art publishing Company. Only in 1850, the Company was named ABEL KLINGER and started issuing board games. The company still exists.
The Company produced the plastic game pieces that were used in “Das Spiel mit Verkehrszeichen” (the game with traffic signs). These game pieces were also used for at least 3 different games from different manufacturers. It was also used for “Auf Autostrassen durch Europa” and “Quer durch 15 Länder.”
