The rare Karmann brochure was found years ago and then the B/W photos of the car recently surfaced. The license plate numbers matched between the brochure and B/W photos. As mentioned in the article, note the air scoops by the rear fenders instead of air louvers in the rear deck lid. The article has a great story line along with the conversion of the two vintage CKO flip top VW toys to match the Karmann prototype.
