Our showcase vintage Split Window VW toy in this article was one of those unknown vintage VWS as far as who was the manufacture for many years. One thing that was a help is the cryptic manufacturer's insignia was stamped on the silver painted metal stamped chassis. The insignia was in the shape of a heart with either the letters “SCH” or just a single “S” inside the heart.
