GÖSO Götz und Söhne VW BUS V2

In 1876, Christian Götz founded the Company Christian Götz. In 1906 the Company was taken over by his son Konrad Götz and the Company was renamed GÖSO: Christian Götz & Sohn GmbH. They produced doll houses and toys to play with in the sand, but also military tin toys. After WW2, they produced tin toys as well as plastic toys. In 1972, the Company was bought by the WADER firm.

One piece plastic body in the shape of a Volkswagen Single Cab Pickup Bus with cut out windows. Details of the front VW emblem, headlights and ribs in the bed section. There is no chassis and the black plastic wheels on metal axles snap onto the body section. There is an “X” mold mark on the inside roof section. The GÖSO VW Bus toy was also used as a promotional item for the Austrian Titze brand, which was a substitute coffee brand based on figs.
