SOAP BAR SPLIT WINDOW VW

A very nice period piece from the fifties, made in Germany by an unknown manufacturer. The bodyshape of the split beetle is very well captured with some details.

It is evident that the soap was put into a mould to shape the bar. There is a clearly visible seamline. These soaps were used, so not many survived. They also easily dried out, as you can see on the cracks on one of them.

UNKNOWN SPLIT VW GLASS 07

This glass Split Window Volkswagen was a Christmas tree decoration. Blue and silver color, a dab of red paint for the taillights and very fragile. Similar to UNKNOWN SPLIT VW GLASS 02 except this one has a longer rear section for the metal holder.

UNKNOWN VW BUS PAPER 03

A cardboard Deluxe VW Micro Bus constructional model that was printed on a heavy card stock in the 1950s. There are various shades of blue / grey and red colors and the details are quite good for a 1950s era, 1/33 scale Volkswagen Bus. No mentioning of the manufacturer.

SIMPLEX VW BUS PUZZLE

A wooden puzzle in the shape of a VW Panel Van by SIMPLEX. This one is actually quite common. The size of the puzzle is 400 mm x 295 mm. On the bottom edge under the red VW Panel Van bumper it is marked "Simplex Made in Holland".

UNKNOWN VW BUS WOOD 01

A wooden puzzle in the shape of a barndoor VW Kastenwagen. This one is 22 cm wide by 25 cm high and has eight pieces. Seldom found and also produced as a 23 window VW Samba Bus. Volkswagen did not allow third parties to use their logo. So perhaps this puzzle is issued by VW?
