LAURÖSCH SPLIT VW

A very nicely detailed stamped metal form by LAURÖSCH, from the town of Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. The form is used to make chocolate VWs. The door windows are open and it shows the driver and the co-driver!

The white plaster car shown in the pictures is made from the chocolate form.

The length of the car is approximately 103 mm.

HAUSSER KdF WAGEN VW V5

In 1904 Christian Hausser and his sons Max and Otto founded the HAUSSER Company, although it initially was named Müller & Freyer. Starting from 1912 the Company was renamed into O&M HAUSSER. DEGENHARDT SPLIT VW

The model, believed to be produced by DEGENHARDT, Nürtigen (currently: Osann-Monzel), Germany, is a cigarette dispenser and shows a little paper tag glued to the body indicating that it was carved out of 1 piece of wood by hand (“aus einem Stück handgeschnitzt”). GOEBEL SPLIT VW V1

The porcelain factory F. & W. Goebel  was founded in 1871 in Oeslau-Wilhelmsfeld by mr. Franz Detleff Goebel and his son William Goebel.  The company is famous for their Hummel figurines; for many years Goebel has been known as the “Hummelwerk“. They produced many different products, among which many different coinbanks.

RAPI CONSTRUCTION KdF WAGEN VW

Construction paper model of the Blue/Grey KdF Wagen issued through the Nazi NSKK. It consisted of a construction paper sheet measuring 34cm x 49cm and needed to be cut out and glued together to construct a KdF Wagen. The axles were supossed to be made from knitting needles !!
