GAY TOYS VW BUS V2

GAY TOYS Inc. was founded in 1962 in Walled Lake, Michigan, USA. They produced cheap toys for Dime Stores. In 1987 they changed their name into American Plastic Toys Inc.

In the 1960’s GAY TOYS produced 2 versions of a VW T1 Bus. V1 is a red Ambulance or a Blue Camper. V2 is a cheaper version of V1. It doesn't feature open side doors, nor the specific interior of the V1 versions....

UNKNOWN VW BUS PAPER 01

A cardboard VW Pickup Bus with advertising design of AMSTEL BIER, measuring 170 mm when built (like a box). The card board itself measures 365 mm x 270 mm. No mentioning of the manufacturer. There are assembly instructions in Dutch in the lower corner of the card board sheet.
